061 Batu Katak, Langkat, North Sumatra – Community Eco-Library
The newly opened Tiger House in North Sumatra is an educational project of Czech non-profit Green Life, aimed at conserving tropical rain forest and especially Sumatran Tiger.
Green Life cooperates with the local community in anti-poaching activities and educating children about nature and wildlife with the help of Mrs. Zhionna. Part of the project is a private rainforest reserve where the endemic Sumatran Tiger has been spotted regularly.
Now through the books about nature, games and activities we need to make the children and adults alike curious about the wildlife and show the value of such endangered species to the ecosystem.
This Eco-Library is self-funded by the applicant.
