074 Kertonegoro, Jember, East Java – School Eco-Library
Mr. Muhammad Andi Setiawan is still a university student. Nevertheless, he has been serving as school librarian for two years now.
When he took over, the library was quite disorganized, and contained mostly boring textbooks. He set up a new categorization system and is trying to source up-to-date books to make the students visit the library more often.
Mr. Muhammad is also the supervisor of the school youth organization. He encourages students to clean up the school area and sell the plastic waste that can be recycled.
In the future he hopes to be able to teach students how to upcycle some waste and plant trees in their village.
